Polyester surface felt uses a special penetration process to treat polyester fibers, making it easier for the resin to penetrate, faster, and more fully absorb the resin, improving the quality of the resin layer on the surface of FRP; the fibers are evenly dispersed, soft to the touch, and have good air permeability.

 

The products are widely used in chemical, electric power, water treatment, FRP and other industries.

 

Polyester surface felt is used in FRP products. Good air permeability and resin affinity make the resin penetrate quickly, completely eliminating bubbles and white stains; good overmolding performance is suitable for any complex-shaped products and molded product surfaces, can cover the cloth texture, improve the surface finish and anti-leakage performance; at the same time, by improving the quality of the resin layer on the surface of FRP products, the surface interlayer shear strength and surface toughness are enhanced; since the acid resistance of polyester fiber far exceeds that of glass fiber, its resistance to hydrofluoric acid is particularly outstanding, so it can improve the chemical corrosion resistance of the product; the anti-ultraviolet performance of polyester fiber itself effectively improves the anti-ultraviolet performance lacking in glass fiber, and improves the anti-aging ability of FRP products; the softness of polyester fiber also provides strong protection for operators and molds during the processing process, and is a must-have for manufacturing high-quality FRP molds and products. It also provides a strong performance guarantee for the innovation of FRP products.

 

The product is suitable for FRP hand lay-up molding, winding molding, pultrusion profiles, continuous flat plates, SMC, RTM, vacuum adsorption molding and other processes.

 

Colored polyester surface felt is a new product developed by our company in cooperation with Nanjing University of Technology and East China University of Science and Technology. After careful research and layer-by-layer experiments, the problem of easy fading has finally been overcome. Colored polyester surface felt has all the characteristics of surface polyester felt, such as corrosion resistance, aging resistance, no cracking, smooth and delicate products, etc. Since the color and pattern are directly pre-produced, it is weather-resistant, rich in pattern and flexible in change.

 

Colored polyester surface felt has a variety of patterns such as wood grain, marble, camouflage, grid pattern, flowers and various single colors (red, black, yellow, green, blue, etc.); patterns and colors can also be customized according to user needs.

 

Colored surface felt is used for FRP pultruded profiles, and the produced profiles have both color matching and customized texture effects, obtaining a colorful and personalized surface effect with good decorative properties.

 

Colored surface felt can also be used for hand-laid products. When producing, select the desired color and texture, spread it on the mold and brush resin to get the ideal color and pattern. It is simple to operate and has excellent quality.

 

Colored surface felt can also be used in other processes of FRP production, such as vacuum introduction, molding, winding, RTM and other processes.

 

Because the products made of colored surface felt have rich surface colors and strong decorative properties, it provides convenience for composite materials to enter the decoration industry.

 

Composite treatment is carried out for pultruded colored polyester felt, that is, the production of colored composite felt. This felt is completely suitable for pultrusion process, easy to use, complete in variety, rich in colors, smooth and delicate surface, good resin impregnation, no bubbles, no white spots in the pultrusion process, and a flat surface without wrinkles. It can play a good role in beauty and corrosion protection of profiles.
